Elouera would like to congratulate Elouera competitor , Brent McKinnon, on his fantastic result at the recently held Coolangatta Gold.
Here’s some of Brent’s official stats for the race:-
23 km Ski
3.5 km Swim
5.5 km board
14.65 km run
Total of 46.65 km
Official time 05:05:18
Brent finished 43rd overall but an impressive 1st place in his 30-39 age category.

We would like to congratulate Elouera member & competitor, Siobhan Jones, who was recently selected to the Royal Life Saving Australian Development Team to compete in Durban, South Africa, contesting the Commonwealth Pool Lifesaving Championships. The Australian National Team and the Australian Development Team were both victorious, winning overall Champions in their respective divisions, against a host of Commonwealth countries including England, South Africa, Canada, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Siobhan was successful in winning three gold medals and a bronze medal.
Well done Siobhan!

Hi all,
If we didn't need officials so badly, I wouldn't be asking for volunteers.
Today is the closing day for the Level 1 Officials course being held in Elouera's Washington Lounge.
This course is being held over 2 nights - NEXT Wednesday 21st & Thursday 22nd Sept from 6pm- 9:30pm.
Level 1 Officials are able to volunteer at all carnivals, nippers and seniors.
Just fill the attached form in & fax it to SLSS - 9019 0720. PDF

Calling all potential Elouera Master Competitors - it doesn't matter whether you are Beginners, Intermediates or Elites. It doesn't matter whether you are 40 or 90.
As the "newbe" Masters Captain I'd love to hear from you if you would like to join up with some other like minded people to train, compete and socialise. Alternatively if you just want to do your own thing then also let me know. That way I can at least include you on the distribution list of any up and coming events and hopefully provide you with the results of successful Elouera Master competitors throughout the season.
If any of you can offer some time to provide some training/coaching or if you need a training partner(s) for any of the events then also please let me know.
Basically for anything Masters...let me know and I'll do my best to support you.
Happy to hear your thoughts, gripes and suggestions.
