Hi All,
Elouera SLSC is pleased to announce the following dates for Bronze Medallion/Surf Rescue Certificate Training for Season 2011/2012:
The course runs for approximately 7 weeks with two sessions each week; 1 dry and 1 wet. In this time you will learn CPR, basic first aid, radios, patrolling techniques, aquatic rescue techniques, defibrillators, spinal rescue and management amongst other things. At the end of all this, you will be assessed by independent assessors on your competency and knowledge. You must be 15 years of age at the time of assessment (or 13 if doing the SRC)
So that we can start to organise our squads, can you please respond by return mail which squad you would like to be a part of. If you have reconsidered doing your bronze, please let me know so that I can stop pestering you with emails!
Places on each squad are limited so be quick to avoid disappointment!! Grab a few mates and join in the fun!!
Cheers
Glenn Cairncross
