On Sunday 17th March, Sutherland Shire Council’s Lifeguards will be participating in the 2019 Lifeguard Challenge in support of the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation. The Lifeguard Challenge is a 30km course from Bondi to Cronulla.
On the day of the Challenge, the competitors will be running on their journey to Cronulla past our surf club between the hours of 10-11am.
If you or your nippers would like to cheer on your local Lifeguards, and also meet some of the stars of ‘Bondi Rescue’ including Harries, Maxi, Jules, Jackson, Clint, Mario, Cory and Lachie get down to the beach and show your support, grab a photo and drop some money in the collection tins for this very valuable cause.
At the finish line on Cronulla Beach there will be a BBQ and dig for a prize competition, with all proceeds on the day going to the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation.
If you can’t make it on the day, you can still donate to the fundraiser at www.schf.org.au/fundraisers/lifeguardchallenge2019
Sutherland Shire Council’s Lifeguards are great supporters of Elouera and all the Bate Bay Surf Clubs, we are luck to be able to enjoy a fantastic working relationship with them.
Come along and support this great cause.
