Elouera Patrolling Cancelled

Wednesday 25 March 2020

Dear Elouera Members,

Everyone is aware that the COVID-19 outbreak continues represents a significant risk to the community and our valuable members.

It is our intention to keep you informed of ongoing changes that will affect the surf club and it's members.

Last night ALL Sydney Branch Club Presidents voted to cease all Patrolling activities, starting as of this Saturday being the 28th March 2020 for the rest of the season.

Sutherland Shire lifeguards will continue monitor the situation and will have the 4 Bate Bay Beaches patrolled. They will increase resources to ensure the community complies with current Government COVID-19 Legislation,  Policies and ensure a safe environment for swimmers.

Surf Life Saving will be supporting Sutherland Shire Life Guards via our Support Operation Team being Duty Officer’s, Jet Skis Patrols and the Emergency Call out teams.

On behalf of the Elouera Board of Management I would like to personally thank all members for their patience, understanding and support through these difficult times, but I can assure you that once we get through this pandemic the Elouera Board of Management and  family will pull together and make Elouera Surf Club stronger.

Kind regards,

Darren Galea

President
