2020 ‘Tradies’ Surf Awareness Clinic

BENEFITING THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER

The Tradies Surf Awareness Clinic has been awarded many community water safety awards since its inception in 1982, the most recent being the Police and Safety Community Award in 2014.

The 38th Annual Tradies Surf Awareness Clinic 2020 is scheduled for Monday 13th January to Friday 17th January 2020 from 9:00am to 12:15pm daily and is open to children 7 to 12 years of age.

APPLICANTS

To be eligible to participate in the clinic, each child must be able to swim 50 metres unaided. Test swim to be conducted on Friday 10th January at Caringbah leisure Centre, Jacaranda Road, Caringbah from 9:00am to 10:30am. Each child will be required to attend the swim test or email a swim competency certificate, signed by a swim coach, to sac@elouera.com

The test swim is a condition of acceptance of applications to participate in the clinic.

Volunteer Nomination

To Elouera SLSC Members and Friends:

You are invited to nominate as a volunteer assisting with the conduct of 2020 Tradies Surf Awareness Clinic.

The clinic will be held between Monday 13th and Friday 17th January 2020.

Note:

  • All volunteers aged 18 years or older must provide Elouera SLSC with a valid Working With Children Check number.
  • Only Bronze medallion, SRC or Elouera under 13's will be accepted as water safety.

If you do not meet this criteria and still wish to volunteer, you are very welcome to be an Age Group Assistant Manager or Support Person.
