Elouera Surf Awareness Clinic

16-20 January 2023

39th Elouera Surf Awareness Clinic, sponsored by Tradies.
After a two years absence the Tradies Elouera Surf Awareness Clinic is back. School holiday fun and learning for the kids. Runs from Monday 16th to Friday 20th January 2023. This unique 5-day surf safety program, held at Elouera Beach, Cronulla, is designed specifically for children between the ages of 7 and 12 and is limited to the first 300 registrations. Activities include surf swimming, body boarding and nipper board riding. The cost for the 5-day clinic is $60.

Bronze Medallion Course

If you’re a club member and over 15 years of age and want to compete for your club or even do water safety with your children you need to have your Bronze Medallion. 

New class starts: 17 January 2023.
Times: 6.30pm – 8.30pm
Tuesday 6.30pm – 8.00pm.  
Sunday mornings 7am-9am.

Assessment: Saturday 4 March 2023

Mental Health First Aid Course

Mental Health First Aid Course

18 & 19 February 2023

This mental health first aid course will be presented by Tara J Lal. Tara is a professional firefighter and peer support officer with Fire and Rescue NSW, for which she managed the psychological well-being program in 2014. She is also a doctoral student at the University of New England and is the recipient of the Australian Rotary Health emergency services PhD scholarship.

Held over two days, this course will teach you how to provide initial support to other adults who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence-based Action Plan.
